Heats up quickly. Very easy to use. It is helpful that there are a lot of tutorials online.

Worked great! Broke in a little over a year.
I’m waiting to hear back if Amika will work with me since it’s a little out of warranty. This tool is marketed as a professional product. I only used it for my own personal hair. It started failing to keep the temperature up several months ago but I dealt with it. Well a week ago the handle/clamp portion fell off. There’s a screw broken or missing and the plastic part holding it together fell off. Very disappointed. It’s $30-50 more than than the other waving irons at the beauty supply store. It should have lasted longer!
